In 2013, SquallCo oversaw the acquisition, design, and gut-renovation of a row home in the developing area of Point Breeze, Philadelphia. Our clients were seeking an investment property to renovate and rent in an upcoming area, and hired us to manage the entire process, from A-Z.
We located the property, provided financial and market due diligence and projections, took the property through the design and permitting phase, and managed all aspects of construction and design. Upon completion, the property appraised for significantly more than most local comps and ultimately rented quickly for far-above average rental rates in the neighborhood.
We were given nearly full autonomy to treat the project as our own. This is an example of our ability to successfully guide the development process for our client.
